Primula are excited to be adding to our Production team at our UK Head Office in Gateshead and have a number of vacancies in our packing team.
We are looking to appoint new colleagues, who will play an important role meeting our customer orders.
You will ensure that products are packed on the manufacturing line in accordance with requirements, ensuring quality objectives are met and high standards maintained.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Pack products in line with production requirements
- Operate the necessary equipment required to assist in packing product such as machinery, labellers, and coders.
- Replenish materials to the production line to support manufacturing goals
- Support goods out processes in line with specifications
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, hygiene and H&S are adhered to
- Work together with all teams and colleagues across the business to support one another
We would like to hear from candidates with previous experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment, where quality and safety are required standards.
Candidates will be used to following standard operating procedures and completing repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately. Able to work quickly and methodically, applications from people with the ability to monitor production process and carry out quality checks are welcomed.
This is a supportive, but busy environment. So, you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work well within a team, supporting your colleagues and management to achieve production results.
The successful candidates will join on our shift rotation working a 38 hour week which is as follows, although opportunities may arise to work on nightshift.
- Week 1 - 06:45 - 14:45 Monday - Thursday and 06:45 - 12:45 Friday.
- Week 2 - 14:45 - 22:45 Monday - Thursday and 12:45 - 18:45 Friday.
