More about your role

As Lettings Negotiator at Places for People, your duties will be to manage the allocations process. You will respond appropriately to applications ensuring that robust affordability checks and verification interviews are carried out with all applicants.

You will ensure all applicants are kept up to date during the process, this will involve processing rejections and working with the Lettings and Marketing Managers to arrange viewings and sign ups. You will be responsible for advertising properties and liaising with Local Authorities to ensure that our nomination agreements are met.

Please note: Although this role is an Agile role, travel to our Leeds office maybe requested. This is a Fixed Term position for 12 months

More about you

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working within a fast paced busy office environment, working to deadlines. You will be a confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel. You will also possess knowledge of web based lettings applications.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience working within the housing sector; this could be either private rentals or social housing.

Understanding and knowledge of marketing techniques to respond to different customer bases, property types and varying property markets would be highly beneficial
