What you'll do

You'll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

You will receive delivered goods into the hotel, checking goods against delivery information and purchase orders.

Have a great understanding of what is being delivered or to check with Supervisor

You will liaise constantly with the Kitchen teams in relevant departments in particular regarding incorrect or short deliveries.

You will ensure that all the equipment within the department, scales, trolleys, computers, printers, etc. are fully functional and not a safety hazard. To report immediately should this not be the case.

Ensuring that the loading bay and loading bay ramp area are kept clean, hygienic, tidy and safe to work in at all times.

You will be ensuring that the dry store and relevant fridge and freezer levels are carefully monitored ,and are kept clean and well maintained

Recognise and maintain good relations with all colleagues, guests, suppliers & visitors

What you'll bring

• Be computer literate.

• Hold a food hygeine certificate

• Hotel or Industry & legislation e.g. Health & Safety, licensing; employment law

• Must be able to work to deadlines.

• Must have a very good eye for detail, ensuring goods provided by suppliers conform to hotel requirements.

• Must be accurate and dependable and able to handle matters in strictest confidence.

• Must be well groomed and neat in appearance; tactful and co-operative.

• Some knowledge of Food & Beverage
