Location: Cardiff
Job Type: Permanent, Full time
Shifts: 5 on, 2 off (includes weekend working) Start times will vary, usually between: 5am-6am

Johnsons Hotel Linen is one of the UK’s largest laundry and linen hire companies, suppliers to the hotel industry, servicing high quality Hotels across England and Wales. A Johnson Service Group PLC company. We are seeking a talented individual to join us as Van Driver to strengthen our Transport team.
The Role:
Responsibilities of the role include:
· Carry out deliveries to hotels as and when requested by the Transport Manager and/or offices
· Maintaining Vans on a daily/weekly basis and ensuring that vehicles are clean and road worthy/legal at all times
· Maintaining regular and constant contact with the Transport Manager and/or office
· Delivering and collecting clean and soiled linen
· Collecting soiled linen lists and handing them into the service office, as required
· At all times you are expected to represent the Company in a professional manner, being polite and courteous towards all customers
· Keeping the inside of your vehicle clean at all times and dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided in the yard
· Ensuring that vehicles are always left overnight at the production facility as company insurance requires all vehicles to be left in secure premises
· Completing a daily safety check on your vehicle prior to leaving the depot to check key maintenance issues including tyres, levels and lights, wear Hi-Vis jacket and other safety equipment on site and at customer premises
The position covers a variety of shift patterns and the successful candidate, you must be prepared to be flexible in your approach to working hours including weekends. Start times will vary and will include weekend working.
